Label stalwart Elias Doré resurfaces this fall with his newest offering for A Tribe Called Kotori, ‚Emergence‘. Featuring two cuts that exalt the trippier side of dance floor-focussed sonics, this new single from the Berliner puts on a rivetingly immersive parade of big, bold kicks and equally epic momentums. Tailored to keep things groovy but allowing ravers to go „deeper into trippy melodies and atmospheres“ as Elias describes it, the title-track ‚Emergence‘ serves up a deep yet highly dynamic narrative arc, somehow bridging the gap between arps-laden EBM, trancey accents and more Afro-infused rhythms, whilst the synths – cut from the cloth of lucid dreams – converge into a hair-raising cliffhanger, paving the way for a massive drop that shall steer any crowd into absolute XTC. Built around Mongolian throat singing, the second cut – ‚Bukhulu‘ – has us lifting off towards further hypnotic heights, halfway bleached-out trance melancholy, nu age-y spirituality and proper strapping body music. The result is a hybrid bomb of a cut, bound to wreak mystique-imbued havoc in its wake.
